A North Pole man was charged Saturday with allegedly dealing methamphetamine after investigators intercepted a package addressed to him.
According to a criminal complaint, the United States Postal Inspection Service became aware of a suspicious package addressed to 42-year-old Kyle Jackovich's North Pole residence on Aug. 18. Investigators found 2.2 kilos of methamphetamine in the parcel and found that Jackovich had been tracking the package.
Investigators conducted a controlled delivery of the parcel around 7:30 a.m. Thursday. A child opened the door but didn't take the parcel inside. The package remained on the porch after the child and their mother left the house.
