NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — It's been twenty years since Hurricane Katrina hit.

That's why Sandy Rosenthal invites you to look inside the house at 4918 Warrington Drive in Gentilly.

WGNO Good Morning New Orleans features reporter Bill Wood is there.

It's the Flooded House Museum.

It's one of the thousands of homes hit by Hurricane Katrina.

Rosenthal says this house was flooded, "right up to the roof line."

That's when the walls of the levees could not hold back the water and a flood of 20 feet, in some places, swallowed the city.

Now, Rosenthal runs the organization Levees.org.
