ANDERSON, Calif. — Beautify Shasta and the local Geocaching Community are teaming up for a community cleanup event on Saturday, September 6, focusing on the area near Gateway Drive in Anderson. Volunteers will begin cleaning up the area starting at 8 a.m.
According to Beautify Shasta, this cleanup will also be a Cache In Trash Out® (CITO) Event, blending outdoor adventure with environmental stewardship. Participants will work together to remove litter and debris, improving the area for residents, visitors and local wildlife.
The event is open to everyone, including locals, families and other local organizations. Volunteers are encouraged to bring sturdy shoes, gloves and water. Protective equipment and trash bags will be provided.
