The Philadelphia Eagles are waiving depth offensive lineman Trevor Keegan, according to a report from NFL insider Adam Schefter.

Keegan’s inclusion on the Birds’ initial 53-man roster was curious. We mentioned as much on Tuesday:

Trevor Keegan making the roster is a surprise. The Eagles weren’t ready to give up on the 2024 draft pick despite him having a shaky summer. Keegan struggled snapping the ball when the Eagles got him reps as a center.

Does Keegan’s departure indicate the Eagles feel good about making a waiver wire claim (despite being dead last in the order as reigning Super Bowl champions)? Or does Howie Roseman have another trade cooking?
