On Saturday, August 30, The Cairo Historical Preservation Project is hosting that event at the Rise Community Market. Organizers will be scanning family Photos and historical Documents from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Community members are invited to bring in up to 10 personal photos or memorabilia items to be digitally scanned on the spot at no cost.
