WESTPORT, Conn. (WFSB) - Emergency crews responded to a crash in Westport on Wednesday morning.

At around 7:45 a.m. firefighters were called to the area of Riverside Avenue after a report of a rollover crash.

When crews arrived, they found a car that was on its side near the Westport Autocraft.

Officials said five vehicles were damaged in this incident.

Three people along with a child were transported to a nearby hospital for evaluation.

Riverside Avenue was closed in both directions as crews assisted on scene.

No further details were released.
