LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Police are seeking the group involved in an attempted armed robbery at a north Lincoln apartment last month.

It happened on July 28, around 2:30 a.m., at an apartment near 24th and R streets.

The victim was in bed when two people entered his apartment through the balcony’s sliding glass door, according to police.

The intruders were described as two males in their upper teens, police said.

One of them was wearing a green ski mask and armed with a rifle. The other male was donning a blue ski mask and black sunglasses.

The duo entered the victim’s bedroom and tried to take his phone and wallet, but were unsuccessful, according to police.

One of the intruders hit the victim in the arm with the rifle before jumping off the balcony and running away.
