ORRICK, Mo - The Missouri Department of Transportation is continuing to seek public input for the Missouri Route Z Bridge replacement project over Keeney Creek in Ray County.

Since July the bridge located near Orrick, has been reduced to one lane and limited to 25 tons until it can be replaced.

An online comment period for area residents to provide input on the project opened yesterday and will run through September 9th at 4 pm. The general public can leave questions and comments on the project webpage located at modot.org under the projects tab.

Tentative plans for the bridge replacement project call for construction to last approximately five months. Route Z will be closed to traffic once construction begins.
