Auburn football is two days away from its season opener at Baylor, and Auburn coach Hugh Freeze announced the 2025 team captains Wednesday during the SEC teleconference.

Freeze said during Monday’s press conference the team voted that day and the names were announced in Wednesday’s team meeting.

“We announced it this morning. [Keldric Faulk], [Champ Anthony], [Damari Alston] and [Connor Lew],” Freeze said. “I celebrate them, and it’s a great honor. There were three other guys just a few votes behind them who were very deserving also.”

Faulk is a projected first-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, finishing last season with seven sacks and 11 tackles for loss.
