A bumpy mini roundabout that has drawn a steady stream of complaints from west Loveland drivers is set for a full concrete makeover.
Starting Sept. 8, crews will replace the deteriorating surface and realign the drainage pan in the intersection of First Street and Crestone Drive, providing what the city’s streets and right of way manager Ben Reiter expects will be a smoother ride for the nearly 10,000 vehicles per day that access it.
“What we’re doing is essentially picking up the roundabout as it is, and putting it back as a concrete roundabout,” Reiter said. “We’re making a few very subtle changes.”
