Boosie Badazz has accepted a plea in his most recent federal case. According to the San Diego Times, the Louisiana rapper appeared in court on Tuesday (Aug. 26) and pleaded guilty to one federal count of being a felon in possession of a firearm.
The rapper, legal name Torrence Ivy Hatch Jr., was arrested in May 2023 after police searched a vehicle he was riding in and found two guns. At the time, law enforcement, watching social media, noticed the 42-year-old had a gun on his waist, and proceeded to use a helicopter to track down his vehicle. Boosie was then pulled over, and a search of the car led to the discovery of the weapon.
Earlier this month , Boosie revealed his plans to accept a plea deal in the case.
