WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) - A fight at a Watertown convenience store ended with a Syracuse man facing multiple criminal charges.
City police said 21-year-old Levon Huggins was at Joe’s Kwik Mart on Arsenal Street on Tuesday with a teenage girl.
Huggins allegedly grabbed the girl by the back of the neck, pulled her by her arm and carried her out of the store to his vehicle.
He’s also accused of smashing the teen’s iPad and taking her phone as she tried to call 911.
Police were notified and later caught up with Huggins as he drove on South Meadow Street.
After police pulled over his vehicle, Huggins allegedly fled on foot. He was taken into custody a short time later.
