INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD arrested a 29-year-old woman on two preliminary counts of neglect of a dependent after her two young children were reported missing and then found safe on Wednesday.

Around 2 p.m. Aug. 27, the department asked for the public's help in locating the woman's 3- and 10-year-old boys, who had last been seen around 6 a.m. that morning near East 16th Street and North Sherman Drive on Indianapolis' east side.

Around 3 p.m., a department spokesperson said the children had been found "safe with family."
