BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- A semi-truck fire has caused lanes to close near the Grapevine Wednesday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Three lanes were closed due to fire going across the lanes due to a burning semi-truck, which also spread to grass nearby. The truck is burning near the Grapevine, in the southbound number four lane and the fire was first reported at about 11:36 a.m.

One lane is still open and traffic is able to pass, according to officials.
