FORT DODGE, Iowa -- Firefighters battled a large, two-alarm fire in Fort Dodge Tuesday night.
According to the Fort Dodge Fire Department, just after 9 p.m., firefighters were called to the 1100 block of Central Avenue on reports of smoke coming from a building. The FDFD said the fire consumed the second and third floors, and multiple handlines were required to get the fire under control. Crews also had to remove sections of the roof to fully extinguish the remainin
