BEREA, Ohio (WKBN) - ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that the Cleveland Browns are finalizing a deal with former New England Patriots guard Cole Strange to the team's practice squad with the intent to elevate him to the active roster.
Strange was selected by New England in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft at No. 29 out of Tennessee-Chattanooga.
He was waived by the Patriots on Tuesday when final roster cuts were made.
In three seasons in New England, Strange has appeared in a total of 30 games with 29 starts.
