On Wednesday, the Philadelphia Eagles held their first practice following Tuesday’s roster cuts down to 53 players.
While the team is not yet required to issue an official injury report (the first one will be revealed on Monday, September 2), there are multiple updates that were gleaned from the brief media-attended portion of Wednesday’s practice.
The good news
A.J. Brown (hamstring), Landon Dickerson (knee), DeVonta Smith (groin), and Jordan Mailata (concussion) all returned to practice after being absent for the team’s last session one week ago.
Brown was seen moving well during the Eagles’ pregame warmups ahead of the preseason finale, so, this development comes as no major surprise. Still, the confirmation is good since Brown missed a large portion of training camp due to his hams
