A man is suspected of drug trafficking after a traffic stop in Lauderdale County.

According to the Lauderdale County Sheriff's Office, 63-year-old Travis Leon Young was caught Tuesday with approximately 41.4 grams of methamphetamine, as well as marijuana and drug paraphernalia in his vehicle.

The drugs were found after a deputy stopped Young's vehicle while out on patrol in the area of Highway 20 and County Road 13. Another deputy arrived and assisted with the traffic stop, and Young was arrested because they found out he had felony warrants from Lauderdale County.

The deputies then found the previously mentioned drugs during an inventory search of Young's vehicle.
