AVONDALE, La. (WGNO) — The grand opening of the Dr. Joseph and Constance Carroll Avondale Library is set for Thursday, Sept. 4.
According to Jefferson Parish officials, the 4,528 square foot library will serve as the parish's first "flex library." It will feature mobile shelving and reconfigurable spaces that enhance flexibility for dynamic programming, community engagement and learning opportunities.
Officials said the facility will include a high-tech community meeting room, three private study rooms and twelve public computer stations.
