A grand jury has indicted a Clermont County, Ohio man for child sex crimes against a child in Gasconade County.

According to a news release from the Gasconade County Sheriff's Office, Roger L. Carrier was indicted on Aug. 14 for five counts of pandering sexually-oriented matter involving a minor, 15 counts of illegally using a minor or impaired person in nudity-oriented material, and one count of resisting arrest.

Gasconade County Sheriff Scott Eiler said his office opened an investigation after responding to Owensville Middle School on Feb. 10. Deputies were following up on a hotline report from Missouri Department of Social Services, Children’s Division involving a juvenile student who had been exchanging photographs over Snapchat, according to a news release.
