After struggling throughout most of his redshirt freshman season at right tackle, Michigan left tackle Evan Link appears to be much improved and prepared to step into the starting role at left tackle in 2025. Head coach Sherrone Moore officially declared Link the team’s starting left tackle, and Link has worked tirelessly to be in the position he’s in now.
“I’ve taken a lot of strides in my mental and physical game,” Link told the media on Tuesday. “A lot of the things that were lacking last year, I think I’ve gotten a lot better at. I really think the competition in camp helped me get there. Having to compete (with Andrew Babalola and Blake Frazier) really helped me improve my game and take it to another level.”
