CONNECTICUT (WTNH) — In the wake of Wednesday morning's deadly shooting at a Minneapolis church, a local police department is responding.

Berlin police announced Wednesday that there will be increased presence around all schools and places of worship across town.

"This is not just about enforcement—it's about reassurance. To be clear: protecting our children and our community is not just our duty—it's our responsibility," the Berlin Police Department said in a Facebook post
