BATON ROUGE, La. — Politics can be serious business… but this time, Louisiana leaders were all laughs.

A Baton Rouge lawmaker’s new gig just got a presidential-sized shoutout. State Rep. Dixon McMakin, recently named the next stadium announcer for LSU football, was congratulated in unusual fashion by none other than Louisiana’s U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson.

In a video posted by Baton Rouge lobbyist Nial Patel, Johnson ditched the usual formality and slipped into a full Donald Trump impersonation to mark the moment.
