CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- The Charlottesville Fire Department is turning to drone technology to make their work safer and response times faster.

“Utilizing the thermal imaging capabilities of the drone allows us to fly over and find hot spots,” said Battalion Chief Chad Bingler.
