LINCOLN, Neb. (Nebraska Athletics) - Nebraska senior middle blocker was named the AVCA National Player of the Week on Wednesday.
Allick added to her list of honors this week, which also includes MVP of the match against Stanford, AVCA All-First Serve Team and Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week.
Allick posted 2.86 kills per set to go along with 1.71 blocks per set with a .406 hitting percentage in the Huskers’ two wins at the AVCA First Serve. She began the season with nine kills and seven blocks in the win against Pitt and recorded 11 kills and five with a .600 hitting percentage in the sweep of Stanford.
Allick is Nebraska’s first AVCA National Player of the Week since Merritt Beason on Oct. 24, 2023.
