REEVESVILLE, Ill. (WSIL) -- A boil water order has been issued for customers in Johnston County community on Wednesday.
The Millstone Water District stated the order is in place for all costumers in the town of Reevesville.
The order is in place until further notice.
During a boil water order, the CDC recommends bringing water to a full rolling boil for one minute, or three minutes at elevations above 6,500 feet. Then allow the water to cool before using it.
When washing hands with tap water during a boil-water order, it's recommended to use soap and water, then use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer and let them air dry.
