IRMO, S.C. — The Town of Irmo has set Wednesday, September 3, for a community-wide homecoming to honor four Irmo Little League teams that competed in the 2025 Little League World Series. The free celebration will be held at 6:30 p.m. at Friarsgate Park (1712 Chadford Road) in Irmo.

“Our Irmo community has so much pride in our local youth baseball program; especially Irmo’s 2025 Southeast Little League Team ," Irmo Mayor Bill Danielson said. "We have had an incredible outpouring of support from our local businesses and restaurants that want to be a part of this hometown celebration on September 3rd and we couldn’t be more excited!”

The evening will feature family activities and giveaways from a long list of local partners.
