ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The historic schooners When and If and Liberty Clipper have docked at the port of Rochester, offering public sailings from August 28 to September 1.

The schooner When and If, built in 1939 by General George Patton, was designed with the hope of sailing the world after the war. The Liberty Clipper, constructed in 1983, pays homage to the ships of the 18th and 19th centuries.

"We've had a long history that we love to share underway while we're sailing," said Zachary Tan, Captain of When and If. "We go over it with anyone who is curious. It's been a good one and we hope to have a beautiful future with it too."
