NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Wednesday was the first day of classes at Yale University in New Haven.
The new class of Bulldogs are starting their college careers while returning students start the next phase of theirs.
A couple students spoke to News 8 about how excited they were to get the new semester underway.
"I'm looking forward to meeting new people in my classes, learning new things, and overall having a good time,” Nathan Bauman said.
"It's so awesome to be able to live and learn in a place as awesome as Yale,” Braden Mathis said. “Just, the discourse around the first day of class, getting to talk with all my friends, everybody's excited to do the pre-class readings and everything."
The semester ends when final exams wrap up on Dec. 17.
