Birmingham police have arrested a man in a double shooting that left one man dead in the city's Graymont Avenue North community.

It happened on Aug. 12 shortly after midnight in the 900 block of Fifth Avenue North.

Quindarius Marteze Allen, 26, of Birmingham, died at the scene. Another person was injured, according to police.

Dorian Trent Talley II, 20, of Birmingham is being held in the Jefferson County Jail without bond. He is charged with capital murder, attempted murder and hindering prosecution.

Police have not released details about what led to the shooting or the condition of the injured victim.
