WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - A 650-acre park in Sedgwick County could soon see new development. U.S. Congressman Ron Estes (R) introduced legislation to lift a federal restriction on Northeast Sedgwick County Park.

“Local Kansas communities should be able to make decisions about how to use their land without federal strings attached,” Rep. Estes said in a statement.
