BRIDGETON, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— On Saturday, August 30th, and Sunday, August 31st, people will be able to take a step back in time and learn more about American history during the Bridgeton Civil War Days.

From 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday and on Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., people will be able to see and talk to soldiers from the Civil War, as well as meet civilians and learn about what went on in their daily lives during the Civil War. People will also get to experience historically accurate grinding at the mill. There will be historical sewing, knitting, and other crafting things people can see and do, along with many other historically correct items to make and sell.
