MINOT, ND (KXNET) — On Wednesday, one safari is providing more than just animals to look at; they are providing resources and activities to seniors in the community.
Seniors gathered earlier on Wednesday for the Senior Safari at the Roosevelt Park Zoo in Minot.
People ages 60 and up got together at the zoo for free admission, educational information, a lunch from the Minot Commission on Aging, and, of course, a chance to see the animals.
Several departments from Trinity had booths set up at the safari, such as Rehab Care, Cancer Care Center, Urology, and Home Health and Hospice, to name a few.
These booths provided a wide variety of information for those who attended.
