LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - The family of a six-year-old girl who was left paralyzed after a road rage shooting in 2023 is going to have to wait longer to get justice.

Three people have been charged in connection with the road rage shooting that injured Onyx Sands. One of the suspects, Jonathan Rivera, pleaded guilty earlier in August to five counts of wanton endangerment after being accused of firing several rounds at the SUV that Sands and her family were traveling in.

On Wednesday, another one of the suspects, Shelby Bisconer, was in court for what was supposed to be a bond hearing. However, Bisconer changed her attorney on Tuesday, and it was decided the new attorney would need time to catch up on the case and wouldn’t be ready for the initial trial date, which was scheduled to be on Tu
