SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Boiling Spring Fire Department reports responding to a vehicle fire that has closed a road in Spartanburg County on Wednesday.

Officials said crews were called to a head-on collision involving two vehicles at 5:30 p.m.

Crews responded to Old Furnace Road near North Spartanburg Park. The road is closed, but the park is still accessible from the Hanging Park Road side, according to officials.

Officials report two people were injured and one was taken to the hospital following the crash.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash.
