SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. -- Meta is collaborating with a handful of school districts for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year.

Sun Prairie Area School District is one of the participating school districts. With the collaboration, Sun Prairie parents and students will have faster results when reporting posts on Instagram.

"We don't expect a mistake-free use of social media, but we do expect safe and secure environments where kids feel like they belong. And so to have this partnership just enhances that," said Curt Mould.

Mould is the director of technology at SPASD and says he wasn't surprised when META reached out to the district.

"We focus on teaching kids digital citizenship in our classes. That's something that is built into curriculum in lessons, kindergarten through 12th grade," he said.
