Local Mexican chain Someburros has opened its newest storefront in Tempe, but this time with no food, money or cooking tools.

CEO Tim Vasquez and other Someburro executives cut the ribbon Aug. 27 for a new era of Someburros that goes beyond the restaurant.

“Tempe is where it all started for us and it remains central to our identity as a locally rooted, family-owned business,” said Vasquez.

Tempe Mayor Corey Woods, Tempe Councilmember Berdetta Hodge and President of Tempe Elementary School board Allison Ewers joined the crowd to share their love for Tempe, BizTown and Someburros.
