MINOT, ND (KXNET) — Starting on September 1, the Roosevelt Park Zoo is making some major changes to its operating schedule as the summer comes to a close.
As the calendar flips over from summer fun in the sun to some cooler fall temperatures, the zoo is making its final preparations to keep both guests and animals entertained in the coming months.
It's already been quite a summer at the zoo, from the grand opening of their new state-of-the-art facilities to the naming of four adorable baby tiger cubs. Now, following their busy summer slate of events, zoo leaders have plenty of fun planned for the upcoming season, including a Bacon and Brew party on September 4th, a Boo at the Zoo event leading up to Halloween, and a weeks-long animal Conservation Days series.
