LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- The ransomware attack crippling Nevada's services is also impacting the state's ability to pay contractors and vendors.
An email provided to 8 News Now revealed that the Aging and Disability Services Division told vendors that no "state payment systems are working."
"No vendor for the state, regardless of department or division, is being paid right now. I have been given no timeline from the Governor’s Technology Office as to when those payment systems may be operational again," ADSD Deputy Administrator Jessica Adams wrote.
The email was shared by a vendor awaiting payment.
