CLOVIS, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Clovis will soon be home to the newest and biggest library in Fresno County.
County library officials said the new library will be 26,000 square feet and will be located in the same plot of land as the senior center and transit center.
The library will be much more than just books. It will be home to community resources, meeting rooms, and even a dedicated teen space.
Fresno County librarian Sally Gomez said all of this, plus the size, will make this location special and much needed in the city of Clovis.
"Our programming is extremely popular. We can barely fit it in our current location. So it'll be nice to have a large community room," Gomez said.
