MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A Mexican national who was living in Baldwin County has been sentenced for being in the country illegally, according to the United States Department of Justice.

According to court documents, Jesus Rosas-Temoxtle, 36, was arrested by immigration officials on April 16, 2025, after police in Fairhope received information that he was in Baldwin County and alerted them.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Removal Operations agents conducted surveillance and were able to verify that Rosas-Temoxtle was in the country illegally after having been removed from the country twice in 2019.

In court, Rosas-Temoxtle was sentenced to time-served incarceration and one year of supervised release. He will be referred to immigration officials for deportation proceedings. He was al
