LAUREL Co., Ky. (WYMT) - Elizabeth Billings was born without limbs.

The 26-year-old originally from Lexington now lives in Laurel County. She has worn prosthetic legs since she was one. But, she lives everyday to its fullest.

“My dad or my mom, they never really wanted me to let my disability get to me,” Billings said. “I was always told to try what I can and if I can’t do it then at least I tried.”

As a child, Billings said she looked up to her big sister, Tristan. They grew even closer after their dad died in 2008.

“She’s my best friend. She’s still a pain in my butt. But she’s probably one that I know would always be there for me, no matter what,” she said.

She keeps her dad close to her heart and always remembers what he told her.
