First, let's learn about the different cloud classification:
(a) Altitude: How high are the clouds in the sky? High, middle or low levelled? Because they have special names:
-HIGH-LEVEL CLOUDS: Cirrus, Cirrostatus, Cirrocumulus
-MID-LEVEL CLOUDS: Altostratus, Altocumulus
-LOW-LEVEL CLOUDS: Stratus, Cumulus
(b) Form: Are they Cumulus, Stratus or Cirrus? These terms help better describe the cloud form:
-CUMULUS clouds are puffy and big.
-STRATUS clouds tend to look layered.
-CIRRUS clouds look wispy.
