The University of Michigan’s Central Student Government met in the Wolverine Room of the Michigan Union on Tuesday evening to discuss elections for the CSG Ethics Committee, in addition to community concerns and resolutions both introduced during this meeting and those discussed in meetings during the summer semester.
The meeting began with elections for chair and vice chair of the Ethics committee. Engineering sophomore Ashna Ganesan, Public Policy senior Jimmy Watke-Stacy and LSA sophomore Mariam Mandwee were among the CSG representatives who were nominated for ethics chair.
In his nomination speech, Watke-Stacy said his ability to manage conflict qualifies him for the position of ethics chair.
