A company has initiated a voluntary recall of a product due to an undeclared allergen.

According to the recall alert from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the recall affects Taylor Farms Honey Balsamic Salad Kits in six and 8.3-ounce sizes.

The salad kits are made by Taylor Fresh Farms.

The salad kits, according to the alert, may contain an undeclared sesame and soy allergen.

Master packs, which are individual packets of dressing and toppings included in the kits, incorrectly included Asian Sesame Ginger dressing rather than the intended Honey Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing.

People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to sesame or soy run the risk of a possible serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if these products are consumed.
