BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- Four top administrators that were abruptly removed from King Center Charter School are now back on the job, according to a state supreme court ruling Wednesday.
The ruling granted a temporary restraining order against the King Center Charter School's Board of Directors.
Back in June, during an eighth grade graduation ceremony, the school's principal, vice principal, and dean of students were let go without warning. The director of curriculum and instruction then resigned in protest.
Supporters at a rally following the firings referred to the group as the school’s “Fantastic Four,” with over 50 years of combined service.
Wednesday night, despite the temporary restraining order, board members appointed a new principal, saying her work begins immediately to ensure
