KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Southbound I-29 at I-435, near Kansas City International Airport is shut down Wednesday night following a crash involving a semi-trailer.
The crash was reported just before 9:30 p.m.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) said the truck contains hazardous materials. The interstate is shut down while Kansas City fire crews determine if the chemicals have been spilled.
MSHP said because of the risk the interstate will be shut down for an undermined amount of time.
No injuries have been reported.
