The 2025 high school football season officially kicks off in just two days. The Sonora Broncos and Miles Bulldogs will face each other in week one for the second straight year, after Miles won last year's matchup by a final score of 32-14. After pulling off the road win last season, Miles now hosts this time on its home field at Gary Krejci Memorial Stadium.

Sonora and Miles both have younger rosters this season. Sonora returns just five starters on both offense and defense, while Miles graduated 14 seniors in the offseason. In Sonora head coach Blake Weston's vision, physicality is pivotal among many key factors this season.
