The workers’ contract expired at 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday night, with workers citing job security , health care costs and time off as sticking points for a strike.
UAW president Shawn Fain announced late Wednesday night that union workers will be going on strike, beginning at midnight on Thursday. This content is imported from Twitter. You may be able to find the same content in another format, or you may be able to find more information, at their web site.
