The below normal temps will continue across eastern NC with high pressure locked in along the east coast. Afternoon highs will peak in the low 80s again on Thursday with morning temps starting in the upper 50s. We’ll be in and out of some clouds, but rain chances are near 0. Highs will lift a touch to the mid 80s Friday with a return to mostly sunny skies.

Labor Day weekend will bring some clouds from time to time, but rain chances during daylight hours will stay generally at 30% or less Saturday through Monday. We may see a little better coverage of showers Saturday night. Weekend highs will go from the mid 80s Saturday to low 80s Sunday and Monday with overnight lows in the low to mid 60s.
